First
All IBPS Candidate Congratulation for Pass IBPS Exam had conducted the
Common Written Exam for Clerks for all nationalized banks the result of
which has been declared by them. More than five lacs aspirants have been
declared as PASS and will get a score card. Lots of candidates are
wondering about the next step that they need to do after getting the
score card. Well, let us have a look on the future steps of those
aspirants who are now endowed with the first ever IBPS CWE Clerk score
card which are going to be issued soon.
Preparation for Interview
Though not all candidates will be called for interview by all banks, but at present aspirants should forget about this. If you have got the score card then only thing that you need to do is to prepare exhaustively for Interview. Make an exhaustive list of interview questions related to PO. Search internet for those questions. See your own bio data and try to understand the questions that may come out from that. After making a list of questions you should start to prepare for the same. Try to prepare with the best possible answer. Consult your guide. You should also make yourself acquainted with the latest happenings in Indian Economy, and particularly the banking sector. RBI has always remained in news in 2011 because of its tough monetary policy to contain inflation. Get yourself ready with all data of RBI. As for now, don’t prepare questions related to a particular bank. That should come under the ambit of the next step that you will take.
Look for Notifications
All nationalized banks will come out with their independent notification for Bank Clerks. See the eligibility criteria mentioned in those notifications. Please be aware that eligibility criteria for appearing in IBPS and appearing in the interview of a nationalized bank may be different. Then the minimum educational qualification may also differ. So, see the eligibility criteria like age, minimum qualifying marks, and most importantly your IBPS CWE score.
Fill the Form
If you will fulfill the conditions then naturally you will go ahead and fill up the form of that particular bank. The next step in this direction will be taken by the bank itself. After getting all applications they will short list candidates according to their requirement. Note that since they will ask for only about four times the no. of available seats hence mere satisfying all criteria will not ensure you a call for interview.
Getting the Call
If you have got the call for interview then you should start to prepare with a different approach. Keep in mind the bank for which you are going to appear in the interview. Prepare everything about that bank. Don’t leave any news related to that particular bank since last six months. Have a look on the website of that bank and note down all information. You will find more than sufficient information about the bank on its website. Remember, if you have answered all questions related to that bank in interview then it will show that you are genuinely interested to work with that particular bank, and it will boost your chance to get the final call.
Not Getting the Call
If you haven’t shortlisted for a particular bank then don’t loose your heart. There are 18 other banks which will come out with their recruitment notification. Hence, rest assured that you are going to appear in some interviews. All you need to do is to keep on preparing for interview. Keep on polishing your personality. In the end, you will be fine.
Final Note
There are 19 banks in India which will use IBPS CWE scorecard in 2012 for Clerks recruitment. Nationalized banks don’t ask for that much Clerks in a single recruitment drive. Then you should not forget that IBPS will again come out with a CWE in June and after three months five lakhs more candidates will be added in the queue. What I want to say is the fact that you have won a small hurdle. The battle is there before you. More than five lacs aspirants know that they are one step behind becoming a Bank Clerk. They all will do their best. It makes it all the tougher. My intension is not to terrify you but to convey a single message that prepare hard for interview. Forget about everything else. Keep yourself updated with every single news related to Indian Economy and Banking sector.
